Once upon a time in Lanka..

For more than one and a half year I am working with Zomato (An online restaurant guide) for Animated TV commercial and for their Facebook page.So I made a lots of cartoons about food.

This one I illustrated for the festival Dussehra. The comic is based on famous incident in mythological story  Ramayana where  Kumbhakaran the giant who used to sleep for six months and wake up just for a day. Ravana tried to wake him up
in the middle of his sleep cycle for the war against Ram.Though I twisted the story a bit and given it modern touch to create humor.I wrote a little poem too.

Mixing  old with new creates a humor.I served mythological character with fast food.

Love for food

There is no LOVE sincere than the love of Food

Just for a moment think what if Rapunzel doesn't have  long  magical hair  (unlike in the real story), then  how  could  prince  reach to her?  With  the same thought I illustrate this comic strip.Not sure it was the love of Rapunzel or the love of food which attracted the prince and led him to the top of the tower very smoothly.
